About the Canton Lions Club

The Motto of the Lions Club is "We Serve"
Purple and Gold are the official Colors of the Lions Club, which were chosen in 1917.

Purple: Loyalty to friends and one's self, and for the integrity of mind and heart.

Gold: Sincerity of purpose, liberality in judgment, purity in life, generosity in mind, heart, and purpose towards humanity.

The Canton Lions Club was chartered on December 4, 1957.
